Public terms
Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Creator Batch Publisher, an owner-operated local command-line client.
Acceptance
By using Creator Batch Publisher, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
You also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, applicable YouTube API Services Developer Policies, this Privacy Policy, and these terms.
1. Authorized use
Use the client only with channels and content you are authorized to manage. Do not use it to bypass platform restrictions, misrepresent channel identity, infringe rights, distribute prohibited content, or interfere with YouTube API Services.
2. User control and responsibility
The owner supplies and reviews each title, description, privacy
value, destination channel, and MP4 before upload. Enqueue is local
only. Preview is read-only. A distinct --confirm action
is required to start an upload. You remain responsible for every
confirmed action and for checking the resulting video in YouTube.
3. Content rights
You retain your rights in local content. The client receives no ownership interest. You must hold the permissions necessary to upload the video, audio, text, marks, and other material you supply.
4. OAuth access
Authorization is channel-specific. The client verifies the full Channel ID before saving a local token. You may revoke access with the documented local command or through Google Account permissions.
5. Availability and API decisions
Google and YouTube control API availability, quotas, authorization, policy enforcement, and video visibility. Until the API project is approved, YouTube may force requested public or unlisted uploads to private viewing mode. No feature of this client overrides that restriction or guarantees an audit outcome.
6. Local data and deletion
The client stores credentials and workflow state locally as described in the Privacy Policy. Follow the Data Deletion instructions to revoke a grant and clear local API response data. Local deletion does not delete videos held by YouTube.
7. No warranty
The software is provided for the operator's internal workflow on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that third-party APIs will remain available, that uploads will complete, or that a requested visibility setting will be applied.
8. Changes and termination
A policy-version change invalidates the prior local acceptance. Maintenance, status, and revocation remain available so inspection and deletion are never blocked. Continued protected use requires acceptance of the current published version.
